Let me introduce you Josiane Pollet, a great artist from Belgium and the person who designed the Myanmar Travel Essentials’ logo. She is passionate about Myanmar and re-visits the country almost every year.
Here Josiane wants to share with all of us her collection of drawings from Myanmar, many of which are inspired by my photos (which makes me very proud!)
Yangon Central Railway Station. The circle line route starts from here and takes 3 hours to do a complete loop around Yangon’s suburbs, if you don’t get off at any station. Don’t forget to bring your passport with a valid Myanmar visa and one dollar.
Yangon train station is the largest railway station in Myanmar and it’s located in downtown Yangon, just a 10 minute walk from Sule Pagoda.

Passengers waiting for the train to leave at Insein station.

Passengers getting on the train at one of the “quick” stops.
Mandarines sold by one of the many vendors that hop on and off the train along the way.
